Red Beard Barbell Club – Terms & Conditions

1. Membership & Day Passes

1.1. All members and visitors agree to abide by the terms and conditions set out by Red Beard Barbell Club (RBBC). 1.2. Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. 1.3. Membership cancellations require a minimum of one (1) month’s written notice. 1.4. All members must book their training sessions using the designated booking system. RBBC reserves the right to refuse entry to members who fail to book sessions in advance. 1.5. Day pass users must adhere to all gym rules and policies. Failure to comply may result in refusal of future access. 1.6. Guests must purchase a day pass and complete a waiver before training. 1.7. RBBC reserves the right to terminate or suspend memberships if a member breaches these terms or engages in behavior deemed inappropriate or unsafe. 1.8. Members must ensure their contact and payment details remain up to date to avoid disruptions to their membership. 1.9. Membership freezes are granted at the discretion of the Directors.

2. Gym Use & Conduct

2.1. Members must use equipment responsibly and follow all safety guidelines. 2.2. Any broken or damaged equipment must be reported to RBBC immediately. Any member found to have caused damage through negligence or malicious actions will be held financially responsible. 2.3. Proper gym attire, including appropriate footwear, must be worn at all times. 2.4. Members must wipe down equipment after use and return all weights to their designated storage areas. 2.5. RBBC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. 2.6. RBBC reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any member displaying dangerous or inappropriate behavior. 2.7. Zero Tolerance Policy: RBBC has a zero tolerance policy for antisocial or abusive behavior, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, and unsportsmanlike conduct. Any breaches will result in immediate disciplinary action, including potential termination of membership.

3. Store Purchases

3.1. All purchases from the RBBC store must be completed via the members’ app. 3.2. RBBC does not offer refunds or exchanges on store items unless faulty. 3.3. Any disputes regarding purchases must be raised within 14 days of the transaction.

4. Competitions & Events

4.1. All competition entries are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless at the sole discretion of the RBBC Directors. 4.2. RBBC reserves the right to modify or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances, with refunds offered at the discretion of the Directors. 4.3. Competitors must adhere to event-specific rules and regulations. Failure to comply may result in disqualification. 4.4. RBBC reserves the right to refuse competition entry to individuals who have previously breached competition rules or gym policies.

5. Liability & Waiver

5.1. All members and visitors acknowledge that participation in physical activity carries inherent risks. RBBC is not liable for any injuries sustained within the facility. 5.2. Members and visitors assume full responsibility for their health and safety while using the gym and its equipment. 5.3. RBBC recommends that members consult a medical professional before engaging in any strenuous activity, particularly if they have pre-existing conditions. 5.4. Members agree to follow all safety protocols and instructions provided by RBBC staff.

6. Photography & Media Release

6.1. Members and guests agree to filming and photography release, allowing RBBC to use images and videos for promotional purposes unless they provide explicit instructions otherwise to the Directors.

7. Emergency Procedures

7.1. In case of emergency, call 999 and instruct the relevant service to the club address:

7.2. All emergencies must also be reported directly to Charlie Knight by phone at 07854426368.

8. Amendments

8.1. RBBC reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes. 8.2. Continued use of the facility after any updates to these terms constitutes agreement to the revised conditions. 8.3. Any disputes regarding membership, competitions, or store purchases will be resolved at the discretion of RBBC management.
