BEASTS OF BIONIC 2025

BEASTS OF BIONIC is back!!!

As always, we bring you a mix of fantastic events, including ones you are unlikely to have ever done before, or get the opportunity to access hardly anywhere else, if at all!

Registration: 0900-0930 (cut off - no lifters accepted after cut off time)
Briefing: 0930-0945
Warm up: 0945-1000
Events start: 1000

This will be a number limited competition as we will be hosting the entire event inside. 

Events include:

1) DEADLIFT for reps. Trump options. 
Power Bar (PB) (lighter option). 
Kratos Bar (KB) (heavier option).  
60 secs time limit. 
No suits. 
All straps/belts ok. 
Start behind line, straps off. 
Reps on either bar contribute. So if lifter A achieves 2x KB and 2x PB, whilst lifter B achieves 2x KB and 1x PB. Lifter A will finish above lifter B. 
W = PB 90kg, KB 118kg
MB = PB 160kg, KB 188kg
MN = PB 190kg, KB 218kg
MI = PB 220kg, KB 248kg

MO = PB 250kg, KB 278kg

2) VIKING PRESS
60 secs time limit. 
Once it’s put down, attempt is over. 
Push Press or Strict Press. 
No double dipping. 
No split jerking. 
Locked out overhead, waiting down command. 
Must be brought down to below the ear. 
W = ~ 40kg in plates 
MB = ~ 90kg in plates 
MN = ~110kg in plates
MI = ~130kg in plates 

MO = ~145kg in plates 

3) SANDBAG TO SHOULDER
60 sec time limits. 
Bag is to be under control on the lifters chosen shoulder, with one hand off, and under control. To receive the referees down command. 
Reps on either bag contribute. So if lifter A achieves 2x heavier bag and 2x lighter bag, whilst lifter B achieves 2x heavier bag and 1x lighter bag. Lifter A will finish above lifter B. 
W = 40kg or 60kg
MB = 80kg or 100kg
MN = 90kg or 110kg
MI = 110kg or 130kg 

MO = 120kg or 140kg

4) ATLAS HEMISPHERE LIFT
Max lift. 3 attempts. 
Break the ground with the atlas hemisphere so that the upper rim of the atlas hemisphere reaches the crossbar of the measuring stand.
A successful lift requires the hemisphere to be raised a bet height of 6inches to touch the crossbar.  
Chalk/liquid chalk fine. 
No tacky/resin. 

5) EXCALIBUR SWORD HILT HOLD. 
Max duration hold. 
Hands must be on the vertical section of the sword hilt. 
Legs are not allowed to support the weight/hands. 
Chalk/liquid chalk fine. 
No tacky/resin. 
W = ~ 75kg
MB = ~ 100kg
MN = ~ 125kg
MI = ~ 150kg

MO = ~ 160kg

Video demonstrations and instructions will be posted in the “discussions” section of the event page. 

Entry includes Competition T-Shirt (to be worn throughout the competition). 
Podium will be awarded trophy’s. 
Those outside of the podium will be awarded medals.
