Big C's Strongest 2025

BIG C'S GYM GOSPORT is back with another fantastic line up of strongman events for you to get stuck in too and become the strongest in Big C's!

last year we held a massive event associated with the Moving On Project and this year with their help we intend to do the same!

The date is to be confirmed but it will be in April 2025 so keep your eyes peeled on this event page

EVENTS ARE -

Deadlift For Reps (60 seconds time limit) Texas Deadlift Bar
Deadlift as many repetitions as you can, No touch and go reps, wait for the down command, if athlete drops or slams the weight without any control, rep will be disallowed.
No deadlifting suits.
WB - 80kg
WN - 100kg
MB - 140kg
MN - 180kg
MI - 220kg

Log Clean and Press into Viking Press (75 second time limit)
Athlete must hit x3 repetitions on the log before moving onto as many repetitions on the Viking press with the remaining time they have left.
you are allowed to drop and rest on the Viking press twice.
no double dipping.
WB - Log 30kg VP 30kg
WN - Log 40kg VP 40kg
MB - Log 50kg VP 50kg
MN - Log 80kg VP 80kg
MI - Log 100kg VP 100kg

Sandbag Press Medley (60 second time limit)
Sandbags will be lined up starting with the lightest bag first, ascending in weight so the heaviest bag is at the end of the run.
Athlete must have arms locked up and press the bag above the head and wait for the down command.
When athlete reaches all x3 bags, they must continue pressing the heaviest bag until the timer is reached.
WB - 25kg, 30kg, 35kg
WN - 30kg, 35kg, 40kg
MB - 40kg, 50kg, 60kg
MN - 60kg, 75kg, 80kg
MI - 80kg, 90kg, 100kg

4 Tier Stone to Platform (starting height 6ft lowest height 3.5ft, 60 second time limit)
WB - 30kg, 40kg, 50kg, 60kg
WN - 40kg, 50kg, 60kg, 80kg
MB - 50kg, 60kg, 80kg, 100kg
MN - 60kg, 80kg, 100kg, 120kg
MI - 80kg, 100kg, 120kg, 140kg
