BIONIC BRUTES OF STRENGTH 2024 - STRONGMAN/WOMAN SUPERLEAGUE

Back for the 3rd year, we are bringing you, what will be another awesome Strongman/Woman Super League throughout 2024. With 4 comps, 5 events in each comp, testing the fullest range of strength across all athletes in an amazing 20 events, including those which you will hardly see elsewhere, if at all!

With even more categories, we will determine the most rounded athletes, providing a platform to move up the ranks.

Super League entry is £150 includes entry into all 4 comps, with a t-shirt for each comp, top three awards for each comp, and Super League entries also battling for Top 3 awards within the League at the end of the 4 comps. 

Athletes can enter this Competition singularly, at £45. Which includes t-shirt and Top 3 trophies from this comp.  

WN = Womens Novice

WI = Womens Inters

MB = Men’s Beginners

MN = Men’s Novice 

MI = Men’s Inters

MO = Men’s Opens

EVENT 1: LOG PRESS FOR REPS

Cleaned and returned from/to drop pads. 

Must be locked out, fully extended above the head. Waiting for down commands. 

WN = 35kg

WI = 50kg

MB = 75kg

MN = 90kg 

MI = 110kg

MO = 125kg 

EVENT 2: 15inch WAGON WHEEL DEADLIFTS Max weight (normal bar)

3 nominated lifts/attempts. 

Can select each 5kg nominations. 

Minimum opening weight:

WN = 100kg 

WI = 120kg 

MB = 170kg

MN = 200kg

MI = 230kg

MO = 260kg 

EVENT 3: SANDBAG TO SHOULDER

2 weight options. Heavier bags out scores lighter bags. 60 secs. 

WN = 40 or 60

WI = 60 or 80

MB = 80 or 100 

MN = 90 or 110 

MI = 100 or 120

MO = 110 or 130

EVENT 4: CANNONBALL CRUCIFIX HOLD

Cannonballs held in hand. 

Arms to held in a position where hands are in line with the height of the shoulders. 

Arms must be straight - no flexion at the elbows. 

Held for time. 

WN = 5kg per hand

WI = 7.5kg per hand

MB = 10kg per hand

MN = 12.5kg per hand

MI = 12.5kg per hand

MO = 15kg per hand

EVENT 5: FARMERS HOLD FOR TIME

No straps, no resin. Chalk/liquid chalk only. 

WN = 55kg per hand

WI = 75kg per hand 

MB = 90kg per hand

MN = 110kg per hand

MI = 125kg per hand

MO = 140kg per hand

Registration is 0900-0930. Late arrivals will not be accepted. 

Athlete briefing 0930-0945. 

Warm up 0945-1000

Events start 1000. 

Athletes that enter the Super League and are deemed to have entered into an inappropriate category will be moved into the category deemed appropriate. The athlete will therefore not carry league points into future super league competitions should this be the case. Please ensure you enter the appropriate category based on your ability.
