Qualifiers for Britain's Strongest Man U120kg is Open

Qualifiers -
North England - The Legion Strength & Fitness - Durham
South England - Maverick Strength - Herts
Wales - Area 51 - Caerphilly
Scotland - Burns Gym - Dumphries

You will get a 0.5kg tolerance for weigh in as it will be same day, BUT the final is 120kg and below, no grams over!

Top 3 from each region qualify for the final - Hopefully 19 man final with 4 already qualified athletes.

Entry to the final is FREE if you qualify (you shouldn't have to pay to enter a national final comp IMO) just cover your own travel etc. Names on tees for the final as a standard also!

Events -
280kg standard deadlift for reps - 60s - NO SUITS, all straps ok
130kg farmers, 10m drop and turn (20m total) - 60s MAX, as many drops as you like
360kg yoke, 10m drop and turn (20m total) - 60s MAX, as many drops as you like
140kg sandbag front carry for max distance, lifted from the floor, foot to break the line before turning - no time limit, Grip shirts are ok, but belt buckles must be at the side or back. There will be a 1m 'deadzone' after your initial pick if you drop it, you'll be allowed to relap/pick it. But no additional re-lapping of the bag will be allowed.
75kg Monster loadable style Dumbbell, Clean and press away, no need to clean each rep - 60s

Final will be at Valkyrie in Surrey June 8th 2024
