Hampshire’s Strongest 2024

We are back this year for an even bigger event at Valkyrie HQ (at Forsyth's Farm).

This will be a weekend of strength with Hampshire's Strongest Novice on Saturday 24th August 2024 and the full weight class Hampshire's Strongest on Sunday 25th August 2024.

U115kg is what I’ve chosen in order to bridge the gap between lighter classes and Opens as I can’t run a day comp with more than five categories.

Entries are first paid first serve. Entry is £45. Strictly no refunds - all entry fees go towards infrastructure for event!

Timings:

24th (Novices) - We will have athlete check-in from 7am, 905am we will have a rules briefing for the following events. The competition will start at 930am sharp

25th (main competition) - We will have athlete check-in/weigh-in from 7am. 905am we will have a rules briefing for the following events. The competition will start at 930am sharp with the order throughout being Women’s U75/over 75kg, Men’s U90/U115/Opens.

Spectators will be allowed, with tickets available for £5 each.

EVENT WEIGHTS (subject to change as always):
- arm over arm is HEAVY, simple as that. Exact weights are pointless and undecided yet.
- Hummer Tyre DL needs full testing, weights may go up or down. It's a 16 inch pull height as it stands.
- Natural stones are very subject to testing/what is available
- Other details to be finalised soon (heights, time limits etc)
