Hampshire’s Strongest 2023
We are back and bigger than ever at a new venue in the form of Valkyrie Athletic Performance (at Forsyth's Farm).
Linking up with James Matthews means this will be a TWO DAY EVENT with Hampshire's Strongest Novice on Saturday and the full weight class Hampshire's Strongest on Sunday.
U115kg is what I’ve chosen in order to bridge the gap between lighter classes and Opens as I can’t run a day comp with more than five categories.
Entries are first paid first serve. Entry is £35.

Timings:
We will have athlete check-in from 7-9am, 905am we will have a rules briefing for the following events. The competition will start at 930am sharp with the order throughout being Women’s U75/over 75kg, Men’s U90/U115/Opens.
Spectators will be allowed.
There will be designated spectator areas to avoid crowding for the competitors. Please try to limit car numbers to the venue due to parking availability and please respect the venue!
Events:
Overhead Medley (Log/Axle/Block/Dumbbell) - Novices will be doing double dumbbell press.
Car Deadlift
Husafell sandbag carry for max distance
Bag Toss
Medley - 20m farmers into max distance prowler push
5 Stone run - Novices will be doing stone over yoke for reps.
