Reso24 Max Lifts 2025

Join us for another max lift competition!
Test your squat, bench and deadlift before the year is out. 
3 nominated lifts per event. 
£20 per person (PayPal friends and family - paulreso24@gmail.com)
3 age categories for both men and women, with prizes for the highest total per category (using Wilks formula - bodyweight).

Cerberus calibrated plates. 
Cerberus deadlift bar. 
StrengthShop powerbar. 

Referee: Alasdair ‘Tex’ MacLeod. 

Straps, wrist wraps, belts, knee/elbow sleeves (neoprene/single/double ONLY), talc and chalk allowed. 
NO SUITS/BRIEFS/WRAPS etc. 

Weigh in from 10am. First lift at 11am. 

Initial nominated lift can be amended up until the first competitor steps onto the platform for each event. 

The weight of a failed lift must be repeated for any further attempts remaining (if any). It cannot be amended. 

Squat is to a minimum of parallel. 

If you do not wish to lift all 3 events, that’s absolutely fine, but the prizes are overall, not individual.

Spotters will be in place on the day. 
No admission charges. 
Spectators welcome. 

Drinks/snacks available to purchase at reception.
