Spectators from £2.00
This is the chance to compete in a great day for all strongmen/strongwomen but also for your families to come along as we will have plenty of entertainment, all money raised from this event will go back into the grassroots rugby club.
Looking for a Strongman competition to get your summer/year going in 2026? Look no further.
Running at Aldwinians Rugby Union Football Club in Tameside, Manchester on 08/08/2026we have the first ever Tameside Strength Fest, be a part of history and be amongst the first athletes to ever compete. All money made from this event will go back into funding the local community grass roots rugby club and it’s adjoining gym facilities.
What to expect: Given the amazing facilities we have we are providing athletes with a good experience for all levels of lifters and all experience levels. Due to the layout of the facility the events will be ran across the pitches at the club but athletes will also have access to a gym area prior to/between events to allow them to warm up and have a bit of privacy if required, in addition to the gym area athletes will also be given exclusive access to changing rooms all with their own toilets and running water(taps) once again to allow that private breakaway space and storage of all of your kit.
Top 3 podium in each category will receive a trophy, all participants will receive a medal and a Tameside Strength Fest 2026 t-shirt with your surname/nickname given on the back. We are looking into and hoping that we can arrange some sponsorship from local businesses on the day to be able to provide athletes with some takeaway products, TBC.
The competition is open to all people of all experiences with the following categories open to athletes:
