Sandbag Steeplechase

SANDBAG STEEPLECHASE- 60 SECOND TIME LIMIT Athletes will carry two sandbags one at a time across a 15m course. Both bags will start on the ground behind the start line. At the half way point athlete must load the bag over a yoke implement, retrive it on the other side and carry it to the end where the bag needs to be loaded fully onto a platform. They must then come back for the second bag and repeat. Fastest to load both bags onto the platform wins

Athlete must begin with hands off the bags untill the start command is given Athelte must carry one sandbag at a time Athlete can go under or around the yoke once the bag has been loaded over Bag must be fully loaded onto platform with hands off for the timer to stop

EQUIPMENT ALLOWED Chalk, Belts, Sleeves, Gloves, grip tops

NO TACKY OR OTHER GRIP AIDS

SCORING Each successful load counts as "1 rep" meaning every time the bag is loaded over the yoke or on the platform you will score 1 rep. if event is completed with both loaded onto the platform you will score 4 reps and recive a time for when the final rep was completed. If athlete manages ot get load the 1st bag onto the platform and with the second bag gets it over the yoke but not to the platfrom the athlete will score 3 reps and be given a time for when the bag was loaded over the yoke.

SCORING EXAMPLE Athlete A (1st place)- finshes the event loading both bags onto platform in 38 seconds= 4 reps in 38 seconds Athlete B (2nd place)- loads bag 1 onto platform, gets bag 2 over the yoke but doesnt load onto the platform in time= 3 reps in 50 seconds (time taken from when last successfull rep was completed) Athlete C (3rd place)- loads bag 1 over yoke in 10 seconds but unable to go any further= 1 rep in 10 seconds

Dinnie Handle Walk

10 METRE PLATE LOADED DINNIE HANDLE CARRY Athletes will walk a 10 metre course while carrying two Dinnie style ring handles (one in each hand.) the goal is to complete the full distance within the 60 seconds without dropping eithier implement.

EQUIPMENT ALLOWED Chalk, belts, sleeves, wraps. NO STRAPS

Athlete can begin with hands on the handles but may not lift untill the start command. On the signal the athlete must lift both handles to full lockout before begining the walk Athelte may drop the handles once but they must be relifted within 5 seconds. If the implements are not picked up again within 5 seconds or they are dropped more than once, the attempt is over and a distance will be recorded.

Mixed, side, overhand and hook grips are all permitted.

SCORING Fastest wins. A time will be recorded once the athlete crosses the finish line. If the athlete does not reach the finish line then a distance will be recorded from where the implement was dropped. placings will then be determnined by distance carried

Freyja Fit Axle press

FREYJA FIT AXLE PRESS FOR REPS Axle bar will start on the floor, Athlete has 60 seconds to lift it from the floor and lock it out overhead as many times as possible.

(trump weight)- Athletes will perform as many reps in 60 seconds using a trump weight format. any successful rep on a heavier bar automatically beats any reps on a lighter bar.

Atheltes can choose freely between 2 pre loaded axles and can move between bars during the 60 seconds.

total score includes reps completed on both the heavier and lighter weight

Athlete may begin on any bar and switch bars within he time limit.

REP DEFINITION: a rep is counted as successful when- 1.The bar is cleaned from the floor 2.The athelte locks the bar out overhead with elbows fully extended, feet in line and bar is under control 3.The referee gives the "down command" and the athlete shows control on the descent- BAR MUST TOUCH CHEST BEFORE PUTTING IT BACK DOWN

A "No Lift" will be given if: Elbows not locked out Dropping bar behind the head Lowering before down command bar doesnt touch chest on the way down excessive bouncing of the axle during clean

EQUIPMENT ALLOWED: Belts, Wrist Wraps, Elbow Sleeves, Knee Sleeves, Grip tops

SCORING: As Stated Heavier bar trumps any weight on lighter bar therfore scoring will look like this:

Athlete A = 1 rep @ heavy, 4 reps @ light. 1st place Athlete B = 1 rep @ heavy, 0 reps @ light. 2nd place Athlete C = 0 reps @ heavy, 5 reps @ light. 3rd place

Car deadlift - side handle

**CAR DEADLIFT- 60 Seconds For Reps - Side Handle Frame

Athletes will deadlift a car using the side handle frame for as many reps as possible within 60 seconds. Each successfull lift to full lockout counts as one repetition.

Athlete begins with hands on the handles but may not lift untill the referee gives the start command.

Extra weights will be loaded into the car for each category.

REP REQUIREMENTS A rep is counted when:

  1. The frame is lifted smoothly from the floor- Athelete must wait for the lift command on every rep to start the lift or the rep will be disalowed.
  2. The athlete reaches full lockout- hips fully extended, knees locked, shoulders back, standing tall and still
  3. referee gives the "down command"
  4. Athlete maintains control of the implement back to the ground

.Reps must be performed from a dead stop- no bouncing the implement between reps .Frame must touch the ground between every rep Dropping or slamming the frame will disqualify the rep

**"NO LIFT" ** will be called if: .Full lockout is not reached .Frame is dropped .Starting before the command . Athlete did not wait for down command

EQUIPMENT ALLOWED Chalk, Belts, wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, straps. NO SUITS ALLOWED

Atlas stone to platform

ATLAS STONE TO PLATFORM Athletes will load four atlas stones one at a time, onto a designated platform as quickly as possible. The goal is to load all stones in order of increasing weight within the 60 second time limit

All Stones start on the ground. Arranged in ascending weight order. Athlete begins behind the start line with hands off the first stone. On the judges command the athlete will load each stone onto the platform in the correct sequence. Stone must be placed securely on top of the platform and remain there without rolling off Stone will only count as loaded once the athletes hands are off the stone.

EQUIPMENT ALLOWED Tacky, Chalk, belts, sleeves, wraps, grip tops.

SCORING Primary score is the number of stones loaded. If athletes load the same number of stones placings are given to the fastest time.
