The More Than Strongman Classic 2026

We're incredibly proud to announce a brand new partnership between Griffin Strength Gym and More Than Men Warrington, bringing together strength sport, community and men's wellbeing to create a competition with real purpose.

Over the 12 weeks leading up to the event, a group of local supported men will take part in a structured strength programme, combining weekly coaching at Griffin Strength Gym with wellbeing sessions delivered by More Than Men Warrington. Together, we'll help participants build confidence, improve their physical and mental wellbeing, make new friendships and work towards an incredible shared goal.

That goal? Stepping onto the competition floor and competing in our exclusive MTM Beginners Category, created specifically for those taking their first steps into strength sport.

Alongside our exclusive More Than Men Beginners Category, we'll also be hosting: Beginners, Novice and Intermediate categories for athletes across the North to compete and get involved on comp day.

Athletes entries £35 non refundable payable via PayPal to griffinstrength99@gmail.com with your name, category and T Shirt size in payment description. Spectator entries £5 on the door on the day. Prizes for 1st place trophies for all on podium.
