WALES STRONGEST WOMAN 2026 

Date - 8th March 2026.
Location - Compound Gym - Cardiff.
Cost - £45 per athlete (no refunds for entry fee unless the event is cancelled).

This is a official pathway of official strongman ..... and Giants Live 

Winner of u57, u64, u73, and u82 will qualify for Britain's and Europe's strongest woman.

Winner of the master will qualify for Britain's strongest master 

Winner of the opens will qualify for Giant  Live Britain's strongest woman.

QUALIFICATIONS TO ENTER


- Born in Wales.
- Lived in Wales for 3+ years.
- Married to a Welsh person and also reside in Wales.
- If one of your parents is Welsh.

- MASTERS & OPENS DO NOT NEED WEIGHING - 

MASTERS MUST BE 40+ YEARS OLD OF THE DAY OF COMPETITION 
MASTERS + MUST BE 50+ YEARS OLD OF THE DAY OF COMPETITION 

24 hour weigh in available at Compound Gym (more information on this closer to the time). 

Alternatively you can weigh in on the day of the competition at the Compound Gym. 

Masters and Opens - you do not need to weigh in.

DEADLIFT LADDER 
75 seconds - each rep will be split times 

U64 + Masters = 95, 110, 125, 140, 155
U73 = 110, 125, 140, 155, 170
U82 = 125, 140, 155, 170, 185
Opens =140, 155, 170, 185, 200 

Suits allowed, all lifting straps allowed, all chalk allowed. 


EVENT TWO
THE STRENGTH SHOP OVERHEAD MEGA MEDLEY
Log, Axle, Log, Axle, Log, Axle 

75 seconds, each rep will be split times 
U64 + Masters = 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65kg
U73 = 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70kg
U82 = 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75kg
Opens = 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80kg 

All Chalk allowed, Grip tops allowed 


EVENT THREE
SANDBAG MEDLEY 
75 seconds - each rep will be split times 

U64 + Masters
Husafell Sandbag walk = 20m (10m x2) 60kg.
Sandbag to shoulder lighter bag = 50kg.
Sandbag to shoulder heavier bag = 60kg.
Sandbag over 100cm Yoke x2 reps = 60kg

U73 + U82 
Husafell Sandbag walk = 20m (10m x2) 80kg.
Sandbag to shoulder lighter bag = 60kg.
Sandbag to shoulder heavier bag = 70kg.
Sandbag over 110cm Yoke x2 reps = 80kg 

Opens
Husafell Sandbag walk = 20m (10m x2) 100kg.
Sandbag to shoulder lighter bag = 70kg.
Sandbag to shoulder heavier bag = 80kg
Sandbag over 120cm Yoke x2 reps = 100kg 

No tacky, No Grip tops 
All chalk allowed 
Husafell Bag will be picked up from a 90cm box. 


EVENT FOUR
YOKE FOR MAX DISTANCE
60 seconds. 
15m lengths with safe zones at each end. 
You will be allowed 1 drop per length. 

U64 + Masters = 160
U73 = 170
U82 = 180
Opens = 200 

No Grip tops Allowed 



EVENT FIVE
THE DRAGON STONES 
90 seconds. 
10 stones to be loaded onto Whisky Barrels. 
Stones start at 40kg up to 100kg
All categories will use the same stones.
