Welcome to the 1st Winter Warrior!
Our first ever strongman event!This event is designed for people who want to try a strongman event & want to compete in one of the following categories - Women, first timers , beginners ( 1-2 competitions ) or advanced beginner ( Taken part in more than 3 competitions) be honest!
We are beyond excited to have a fun day .
Winners will get a trophy 🏆 along with 2nd & 3rd place medals.
All athletes will get T-shirts with event logo. Once paid please state size of T- shirts . Sizes S,M,L,XL only

Closing Date to enter the competition end of day 6th November . Non refundable once entered.
When you arrive please sign in so we know you are here. Please arrive before 8.30am to warm up. We aim to start the event as close to 9.30am as possible.
You will be receiving your competition shirt at sign ins, it is not required to be worn at the day of the event but I do ask that you wear it for the group photo and rock it .
Parking
- Parking anywhere in the parking lot is acceptable as long as you are not parking in front of the white bags , are next door neighbour or any roll up doors.
Spectator Fees
- No spectator fee!
Food
- We will be having food available for purchase. BBQ for local charity Acle and Brundall 🦁.
- Waters , Tea and Coffee and protein bars
Toilets
- There are 2 Toliets, one inside of the gym that will be reserved for volunteers and competitors.
- I ask that spectators use one of the port-a-potties that will be on site; competitors have time constraints and I wouldn't them missing a lift because they had to wait to use a Toliet.
EVENT RULES!!!
Event 1Log Press - Max Reps
- Each athlete will have 1 attempt to press max reps.
- 60 seconds to get max reps
- You put the log down and restart and allowed to push press.
- Wait for the down command
- grip shirt, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, belt and knee sleeves are the only supportive equipment permitted.
- Most reps wins

Event 2Duck 🦆 walk ( last man standing) max weight & distance wins
Carry the duck walk into the safe Zones before putting it down.3 lengths of x meters before next safe zone. If handle is put down before the safety zone you are out of the event. Once all competitors have gone more weight will be added & you go again till the last man standing.
Last man standing wins.
Starting weight of handleWomen 40kg and then increasing by 10kg in each round.First timers , Beginners, Advanced Beginners starting at 60kg and the increasing by 20kg in each round.
Event 3Stone to Shoulder Atlas stone will on the lifting pad ready to pick up.
Athlete will be given the start command and the athlete will roll the stone to the shoulder and then given the down command by Ref .
Max reps in 60 seconds.

Woman 30kg stoneFirst timers and beginners 40kg stoneAdvanced beginners 50kg stone
Event 4Sandbag toss
Throw the sandbags as fast as you can over the 3 metre high bar .
But a miss throw or bag hits the bar and does not go over then 60 seconds gets added to the athletes time.
Fastest time wins
Woman 5kg slam ball , 10kg sandbag and 12kg bag
First timers 5kg slam ball, 10kg sandbag and 12kg sandbag
Beginners and advanced beginners 10kg , 12kg , 14kg , 16kg sandbag
Event 5 Sliver Dollar Deadlift
Max Reps in 60 seconds
Athlete will be given the start command and then once athlete locks out the lift then the ref will give the down command.
