Max Dumbbell
Men will use the new Wilton Strength loadable dumbell with the curved inside. Women will use the new Educate Strong Loadable dumbells.
Athletes will have 60s to complete the lift
Deadlift
Athletes have 60s to complete or get through as many stages as possible of a deadlift medley with split times given to really seperate the field
first bar is an axle in to an olympic bar, then a whippy deadlift bar then a power bar from 15inches using the big wheels.
Suits are all allowed and straps, no hooks, no sumo.
Athletes will start with hands off and begin on the whistle.
The Gauntlet
Athletes will complete 6m of a heavy farmers then proceed to clean and press away an olympic bar. however, before the 75s limit is up, they MUST return the farmers back to the starting position to claim their reps completed on the olympic bar.
All straps allowed, belt cleans allowed.
Fingals Fingers
As many reps as possible to complete in 60s
expect it to be heavy but will be thouroughly tested by an u70 & u57
all kit allowed.
Hercules Hold
Classic grip test!
Hold on as long as possible. Standard handles
only dry chalk or fully dry liquid chalk
Sandbag Eliminator
All athletes will attempt to load every rep until the final bag where final two athletes will continue to load in a head to head
u57s start at 60kg and final bag is 90kg (42'')
u70s start at 90kg and final bag is 130kg (46'')
10kg increments
kit allowed but no tacky
