Hull's Strongest Man and Woman 2024

We're back, last year we had a fantastic time at our new location and look forward to welcoming you again for Hulls Strongest Man and Woman 2024. This years competition will again be taking place in our new location just outside Hull centre on the Sutton Fields Industrial Estate.
The competition will continue as usual with Novice Men and Women on the Saturday, and U105, Open Men, Inters and Open Women on the Sunday.
As always full event details and videos will be released in the upcoming weeks to give you a taste of what to expect.
We have a few logistical issues to confirm before i can fully annouce the Overhead and Deadlift event so please bear with us but these will be up asap and i promise you they will be worth the wait.

Reserve lists will run for each category as required.
Registration at 9AM both days with athlete brief at 9.30AM and first event start at 10:00AM. U105 can weigh in from 8AM Saturday .
No previous podium places in a prior Novice competition to enter Novice category.

Event 2 - Farmers into Yoke. 15m out - 15m back.
Chalk and grip shirts allowed. Knee sleeves and wrist wraps.
Novice Women - 55kg/110kg

U105 Men - 120kg/250kg
Open Men - 140kg/300kg
Inters Women - 70kg/130kg
Open Women - 85kg/150kg

Event 4 - Sandbag to Shoulder. Maximum reps in 60secs. No grip shirts.

Event 5 - Atlas Stone load.
We are rewinding the clock and going old school. 5 Stones of ascending weight set back from 5 barrels gradually getting closer to the barrels to be loaded. No tacky or grip sleeves, chalk only. Barrel height of 1m.
