Important Information

🌤 This is an OUTDOOR event.
The forecast currently looks okay, but if you’d like to bring a gazebo, tent, or shelter, please feel free to set up on the grass. If the weather turns, we’ll be grateful for every bit of cover we can get!

📊 Live scores will be updated throughout the day:

🐶 NO DOGS allowed at the venue – unfortunately this is a strict Rugby Club rule and will be enforced.

🍔 Food, hot & cold drinks, and Haynes Strength merchandise will be available throughout the day.
The rugby club bar will also be open and showing the rugby — athletes, it might raise a few eyebrows if you’re spotted halfway through the show with a pint in hand 😉

ATHETE Q&A 3rd Mar 2026 4:27pm

Hey guys n girls!

Could you please all fill out this questionnaire - it'll take 5 mins tops. Just a few questions to help our MC on the day. Please provide as much detail as possible so we can big you up and help you guys out!!!

PLEASE FILL IN ASAP - https://forms.gle/qqcmPgR2zfzuZFA99

I really need this done this week guys.

Thanks all - I hope training is going well!!

Deadlift PLAN 28th Feb 2026 10:41am

Right ya savages!

Slight change of plan on The Atlas Stone Deadlift Ladder - Jason only has 3 sets of the stone deads for each category, so the first bar will just be a standard bar and plates - classic 9 inch pull, on a DL platform.

I am going to DO MY BEST - to make sure all of the pulls are between and 9 and 11 inches. Obviously, as the weights get bigger, the stones are bigger, so the bars are higher. I have blocks to stand on, so we should be all gucci. However, especially the ladies, please be prepared that it COULD be a higher pull - I simply don't know until we test and set up in the morning. No bars will be lower than 9" and the bars will only get higher as you go, so you won't do a 10 inch pull and then back down to 9" for the next for example, if that makes sense!!

Weights are all still the same, its just the first bar is a normal deadlift on a power bar.

The four lifts will be: POWER BAR, POWER BAR, DEADLIFT BAR, KRATOS BAR. Suits & Straps still all good x

I really appreciate you all - any questions please get in touch with me directly!!

ALSO IF YOU HAVEN'T YET PAID YOUR ENTRY - PLEASE DO THIS ASAP. IDEALLY OVER THE WEEKEND.

Max Overhead (From Jerk Blocks)

The max overhead! Athletes will have 3 attempts to put the heaviest weight overhead.

Front rack or Behind the Neck allowed! Split jerks, push press, strict press, push jerk all ok. No Wraps - sleeves only.

BodyPower olympic plate and barbell

Spartan Deadlift Ladder

The Spartan Deadlift Ladder!

Athletes will have to lift 4 bars (2 Stiff, 1 DL, 1 Kratos) with Atlas Stones Hanging off the Bars.

Sponsored by Spartan Atlas Stones

Bar heights TBC - but minimum 9", rising as the stones get bigger.

All straps okay.

Suits allowed.

Talc allowed

NO BABY OIL

Yoke

10M Yoke Race

Trump Style - so both men and women will have a heavy and light option.

Athletes will have 20s/30s (TBD) to complete the 10m course. Drops are allowed.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE - COMPLETING THE COURSE WITH EITHER WEIGHT, TRUMPS DISTANCE.

What this means, if you pick the heavy option, but don't finish the course, a completed course with the light option will beat your distance. This makes it a gamble to go for the heavier option, and will stop people just doing 1m to beat the lighter weight.

This will be on tarmac.

Do you have the minerals to go for the heavy option??

Hercules hold

Hercules Hold for Max Time!

Sponsored by Gods of Grip

There is a strong likelihood I will choose a mystery handle for the guys and girls to really test their overall grip strength!

Who knows...

All we know is, it's gonna suck. Bad.

Shield carry

Max Distance Shield carry - round a "pen" made of cones.

No tacky or anything sticky. Hands and forearms will be checked.

All chalks are fine, sleeves fine. No resting on belt. No grip tops.

Mark Jarrett Commercials Truck Pull

Truck Pull (Rope & harness) for time!

Gonna be spicy

Fastest time wins - if you don't finish the course, time will be taken.

Course length tbd.
