Welcome to rise of the strong!
An entry level competition for strong women to start their journey in this incredible sport.
We have two categories for you the first one being for First timers. This is for anyone that has never competed in strong woman before. We also ask that you have not completed in a high level at other types of strength sports either.
Our second category is a Beginners strongwoman. Perfect if you are still getting into the sport.
We ask that you have not competed in more than two previous competitions.
Now for the exciting bit, the events!
Event 1
Axle clean and press for reps.
60 second time limit.
First timers: 30kg
Beginners: 35kg
Most reps wins
Event 2.
Max deadlift. Power bar
All athletes Starting at 80kgs and going up in 10kg rounds
Athletes can lift in any round or skip rounds as they wish. Once you fail a weight, the previous successful lift will be your result.
Athletes have 60s to complete lift.
No suits, hooks or sumo.
Event 3.
Farmers walk in to duck walk.
Carry farmers 12 metres, drop and turn and come back. Repeat with duck.
First timers: 45kg PH farmers 50kg duck
Beginners: 50kg farmers 60kg Duck.
Fastest time wins.
Event 4.
Sandbag for distance in 60s
Turns at 12m. Athlete to carry the bag as far as possible.
First timers: 40kg sandbag.
Beginners: 50kg sandbag.
Drops allowed. Chalk allowed. Grip tops allowed.
Event 5.
Odd object loading medley.
Athletes to load 4 items to platform.
First item is to 5ft, the rest are to 4ft.
Rubber ball. Natural stone. Natural stone. Keg.
First timers.
30kg-32kg-36kg-45kg
Beginners
40kg-36kg-43kg-45kg.
