The Haynes Farm Grip Championships

Introducing the first ever Haynes Farm Grip Championships! Open to all athletes/abilities, with both male and female classes. Sponsored by Gods of Grip.

Grip Sports are growing in the UK - come along and try something new and see how you compare!

Classes include:
Men's: U83KG, U105KG, U120KG, Opens
Women's: U66KG, U73KG, U84KG and Opens.

Capped at 10 athletes per category. Weigh ins on the day only, at the venue, 100g weigh-in tolerance (so 66.1KG is okay for the U66). If you weigh in too heavy you can move up a class on the day.

THE EVENTS:
1) Max Rolling Farmers Deadlift.
Rising bar - 3 lifts each.
5KG Increments
Men - 60mm handles // Women - 50mm handles

2) Gods of Grip Mid Ridge Max
(Paddy10 for 10% off!)

Rising bar - 3 lifts each.
1.25KG Increments

3) Gods of Grip Saxon Bar Hold for Time

Weights tbc.
Men - 80mm Saxon Bar // Women 60mm Saxon Bar

Time starts when the implement leaves the floor and stops when it hits the floor.

Failure to lift the implement = 0 points (however we will be trying to pick weights that are comfortable for every class).

4) Double Overhand Axle Deadlift for Max

Rising bar - 3 lifts each.

5) God's of Grip Elite Series Hand Gripper Hold for Time

Women U66 and U73: 1 Star
Women's U84 and Opens: 2 Star
Men's U83 and U105: 3 Star
Men's U120 and Opens: 4 Star

Athletes will be holding an implement pinched between the Hand Gripper - when it hits the floor, the time will stop.

6) Paddy's Hay Bale for Max 

Rising bar - 3 nominated lifts
CASH PRIZE FOR HEAVIEST MALE AND FEMALE HAY BALE LIFT

7) Grip Medley of Death
8-12 implements that need to be lifted with one hand - 1 point for every item lifted (Referee down signal for each implement)
