The Inaugural Hull's Strongest Classic

Hull's Strongest is buzzing with anticipation as it prepares to host hulls only full power powerlifting competition, adhering to the lifting rules and commands of the British Powerlifting (BP/IPF). The event will feature two main categories allowing beginners and advanced strength athletes their own time to shine, In the novice category, competitors will battle for victory based on the DOTS, making it an ideal platform for newcomers to test their strength. For the more seasoned athletes, the advanced category will split into weight classes, ensuring a level playing field among competitors of similar body weights. To truly test the strength of competitors, athletes will have to rely solely on their natural strength, aided only by 7mm knee sleeves and no straps or suits. With an electrifying atmosphere and an array of talents, Hull's Strongest is set to be a spectacle of power and determination.
Each category will have mens and womens athletes.
Entry is £35 and includes a comp t-shirt, no refunds or changes except in event of cancellation by the organiser.

Medals for podium in each weight class and novice with a trophy for overall best weighted lifter based off DOTS.

All lifts to be completed on a power bar.
All athletes will weigh in on the morning of the event in flight order.

Novice Men and Women - Entry condition to have not completed in a FULL powerlifting meet before.
Remaining lifters will be split according to IPF classes:-
Women: 47 kg, 52 kg, 57 kg, 63 kg, 69 kg, 76 kg, 84 kg, 84 kg+
Men: 59 kg, 66 kg, 74 kg, 83 kg, 93 kg, 105 kg, 120 kg, 120 kg+
