Men: Novice

Titan's first official Novice Strongman competition being held on Sunday 27th November.
15 athletes covering 5 events with trophies for the top 3.
The events will be, in running order,
- 220kg 15inch axle deadlift for reps in 60 seconds
-220kg yoke run (14 Meters) in to 4x keg run 40kg, 50kg, 60kg, 70kg in 90 seconds
-Overhead melody. Yoke press 70kg, barbell press 80kg, log press 90kg for reps (log only) 90 seconds
-Front crucifix hold for time, weight 17kg
-Stone platform run 60kg to 73inch, 80kg to 65inch, 100kg to 57inch, 120kg to 49inch 90 seconds
Entry fee is £30 and entry rules are as follows,
If you have placed top 3 in a Novice Comp previously you cannot enter.
If you have placed top 5 twice in a Novice Comp you cannot enter.
If you can comfortably do the following you will also not be allowed to enter,
110kg overhead press for reps, deadlift 200kg for more than 8 reps, can do 280kg yoke and lifted 160kg stone to platform.
By putting these rules in place, we are trying to create a fair platform for new commers to the sport and we hope this can be respected.
